Analysis

This shows Stormzy saying ‘how dare you twist the
truth’ showing how he could be aggrieved with someone in this time in the
song. It also shows in the background his ‘crew’ of what could be on his side
in the music video. They are all wearing white to show their friendship and
how they are backing him up in the scene. This could link to ‘Boyz in the
Hood’ in the gang scene where they are in a group and they are always there
for each other to show strength and power.

Analysis

The shot shows Stormzy grouped into the middle of a
circle as if he is being gung up on and it shows him shouting at them and
using aggressive hand movements to show his anger even more. He is also in
the middle of a group of white males, and he is the only black man. This
could show the racial influence in the music video as Stormzy is threatening
the group with the lyrics he uses in the scene.

Music/lyrics
“Your face ain’t big for my boot”
|
Edit/Transitions
Back and forth with Stormzy aggressively shouting
at the people stood around him.

the majority of the figure of Stormzy, shows clearly his location and
setting. Eye line level and shows the camera pointing behind where he is
following.

Analysis

![]() |
The shot shows Stormzy with his arms folded and
hanging out of a police car showing a grime or hip-hop genre. This is also
shown by what he wearing, which is pretty covered up and also plain, which
emphasises this genre even more. He is hanging out of the police car showing
his power in a city scene, which could show intertextuality to the film Fast
and Furious 7 where they hang out of their cars to show their power in the
movie.

Music/lyrics
“I’m the man of the house”
|
Edit/Transitions
Cuts back and forth from this shot showing the
power he has all the way through the music video.
